KEMSING JUNIOR AWARDS

Kemsing Cricket Club entered an under 11's team in the Mid Kent Youth League for the first time this year.

The season finished on Sunday, 18th July 2009, with a game of Kwik Cricket involving the junior players and their parents followed by awards presented by Sevenoaks Councillor Lorraine Stack.

The attached photo shows the Under 11's manager Graeme Leno, club sponsor Trevor Harding (Harding Motors in Kemsing) and Councillor Lorraine Stack pictured with the receipients Ben Hafford (Fielding Award), Sam Marshall (Batting Award) and Connor O'Shaughnessy (Bowling Award).

Owing to the successful incorporation of the junior section to Kemsing Cricket Club, and the enthusiasm of the players involved, next season the club is hoping to have teams in Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 age groups.
